While it does not yet encompass the full scope required for the EASA examinations—requiring supplementary study from standard textbooks—it provides a solid foundational overview suitable for both aspiring pilots and engineers seeking to refresh their technical knowledge.

This interactive tool incorporates a detailed 3D model of a Rolls Royce Trent 1000 engine, allowing users to manipulate the model from multiple angles, toggle visibility of individual components, and animate key elements such as spools, thrust reversers, and inlet guide vanes. Such features facilitate a visual understanding of complex engine operations.

When selecting components within the model, users are presented with pop-up dialogues summarizing their design, construction, and common issues or failure modes. The interface is enhanced by intuitive navigation wheels that enable quick disassembly or identification of engine parts by color coding the three spools, supporting an active learning experience.

Although future updates are anticipated to include more advanced topics—such as detailed gas flow analysis and gas turbine theory—as well as self-assessment questions modeled on EASA exam formats, this version primarily functions as an engaging introduction. It is particularly valuable for visual learners or those seeking an interactive supplement to traditional study methods.
